Todd Crag - Stunning Apartment for 4 People

Excellent location, short walking distance to the hustle & bustle with gorgeous views over the quaint rooftops into Positive: Excellent location, great views, convenient, comfortable, clean, very responsive hosts & adequately kitted out. Very convenient parking permit. Negative: Can be quite noisy with a lively pub over the road. Guests with physical challenges should be mindful of the steep stairs up to the inside of apartment. Finding a parking in Ambleside can be tricky so offloading for a longer stay can be a challenge when the car park is further away.

Positive: Gemütliche Unterkunft im Ort in direkter Nachbarschaft der vielen Geschäfte. Man hat eine schöne Aussicht über die Häuser bis zu den dahinter liegenden Hügeln. Alles Fußläufig erreichbar, auch zum Wandern war die Lage super. Wir haben das Auto stehen gelassen. Eher ein neutraler Puinkt, es gibt einen Parkausweis, der für diverse Parkplätze, auch in der Umgebung, gilt. Man sollte nur wissen, das es keine Parkmöglichkeit direkt an der Unterkunft gibt, der Parkplatz den wir genutzt haben war aber nur 2min fußläufig entfernt. Negative: Fenster waren sehr schwer zu öffnen und zu schließen. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche ist recht gering. Tisch und Stühle in der Küche wirken recht abgenutzt, und passen so nicht zum Rest der gemütlichen Einrichtung. Da es aber einen großen Esstisch im Wohnraum gibt, sind die für uns auch nicht wirklich nötig gewesen.

Well located, comfortable apartment but needs some investment Positive: Great location, comfortable, warm, plenty of space. Negative: Apartment needs some investment. Toilet seat was cheap and kept slipping to one side. Windows in the bedroom were sash type windows and difficult to operate. Musty smell from one bedroom's wardrobe meant it was unusable for clothes. The owner relied on the previous occupant to wash any dishes, but there was no dishwasher. We found the cups, mugs and cutlery were dirty and the glasses greasy so we had to wash before use. If you rely on occupants to wash dishes then supply a dishwasher.

Absolutely perfect and looking to visit again! Positive: Location was perfect. Perfect size for 2 and equipped with everything needed. Negative: Could do with a coat of paint - I’m sure it will have one soon as it’s the end of the season.
