Positive: Convienient Negative: Noise from surrounding bars/ restaurants. Bin trucks really early in the morning. General.noise but to be expected in central location.

Perfect place to stay. Great character a perfect little gem. Positive: Great property, everything you need for a lovely stay the fact you can park the car on sight too was great. Couldn’t be more central to all the amenities you need.

Everything was great, we would stay again next time! Positive: Great location, very quiet, comfortable and cozy and the big garage was a bonus! Everything was so convenient especially travelling with pets. Negative: Feel uncomfortable about not being able to do recycling properly and conveniently.

We had a lovely relaxing week and enjoyed visiting as many of the nearby places that we could great holiday thank you Positive: Bakestones central is cosy and has everything you need. It was nice to have a shower that worked well and a tv that had no signal issues. The communication from hosts was excellent. Parking is ideal. Location is perfect for buses or walks to nearby places such as grasmere, rydal water and caves, Windermere, Wray castle etc and we loved getting the boat back from Windermere to Ambleside, lovely week and would definitely stay there again Negative: The noise of the staff from the Tapas Bar next door, there was lots of clattering about and loud talking until late at night. Also the fact that the staff regularly stood in the alleyway smoking
